2017 marks the end of It’s O’right quarterly in print and the beginning of It’s O’right Green Life. That’s right, It’s O’right is going digital!
Since its debut as a quarterly, It’s O’right has been issuing print editions with FSC certified paper printed with soy ink, covering environmental issues, the latest global eco-trends, as well as introducing the things we can do and changes we can make to protect our planet. To our loyal readers of It’s O’right: don’t worry, we have transformed previous issues into digital form on the internet for you to access and read at all times.
In the first issue, we discuss the causes and impact of the global food crisis. Living in a country where food is accessible, adequate, and available, we are blissfully unaware of the magnitude of the crisis facing parts of the world today, when in fact it’s the complete opposite. As climate change continues to fuel global food crisis, we should dig deeper into a major contributor to climate change – food waste. In It’s O’right Green Life we will introduce the Rock Soup Project by Do You a Favor to delve into the issues of food waste and discuss the changes we can make to solve them.
In addition to cherishing food, we should also remember to teach our younger generations to recognize the original form of all foods so they can realize how important and precious food is. Let us use our power to impact children and create a better future for us all.
